Ron Paul does have a stance on marriage. It may not be a big selling point for his campaign but it is still worth noting. He believes that marriage is a religious institution and government should have no involvement in two people getting married.

I couldn't agree with you more. Personally I am an atheist, and against organized religion in all its forms. However, I firmly believe in the rights of individuals to believe in whatever they wish. I don't judge individuals for the actions of an institution as a whole. But I'll be perfectly honest, I am very afraid of Christianity. Frankly, most of the political voices for Christians are downright insane. These are very scary times, and I wish everyone would understand that we are all human beings who must learn to live together in peace, so we can survive our own shortcomings.

But as far as the political aspect of this article, you couldn't be more right. Personally I am an independent liberal. In fact, I believe the two-party system in America is one of the most harmful aspects of our government. But regardless of my personal views, I have always supported the candidate who I see as best fit to change this country in a positive manner. Unfortunately it usually ends up being the lesser of two evils. This is the first election where I feel someone is truly worthy of my support. Who cares that I'm an independent, liberal atheist -- Ron Paul is the only candidate that I will put my full support behind.

Thanks for an awesome job making the comparisons. We just don't understand how people can be duped (AGAIN!) by a candidate (Huckabee) who is using Jesus Christ to win an election. Floating crosses, faked theology degrees, polarizing believers and non-believers, etc. It's shameful! Because of all the war-mongering and polarizing, non-believers are actually AFRAID of Christianity! "Woe to them..."
